New Life Restoration Center
New Life Restoration Center is non-profit Christian discipleship program established in 1990 and presently ministers to adult men ages 20 and up. The Center is a long-term residential facility supported by churches and interested individuals. Our primary purpose is to provide the opportunity for residents to develop a relationship with God and in turn become productive citizens free from addiction.
The Center helps men face a wide range of life’s challenges. Most have a life-controlling problem (alcohol, drugs, etc.) that prevents them from living successfully. Residents are referred from pastors, county courts and probation offices as an alternative to incarceration. Some residents come directly from state correctional facilities.
The program is twelve months in length with two phases. The first is seven months in length and very structured with high accountability. The second phase (Accountability Program) is five months and allows residents more freedom in decision-making. The general routine includes morning devotions, Bible college correspondence courses, church attendance and regular employment.
They receive Biblical counseling and practical skills instruction with involvement in the local church as a primary component of the program. The Center also believes a good work ethic is essential in becoming a productive citizen, so residents are required to be employed in the local community. This allows them to fulfill personal financial obligations and reestablish fiscal responsibility. Job placement is available according to skill and experience. Residents are provided with room, board and transportation to and from work for the duration of the program. Residents contribute a percentage of their earnings back into the program to offset a portion of the expenses incurred during their stay.
